Jess and Jack live and work in a cluster of buildings on the Barlavington Estate in West Sussex. The young couple have just welcomed their second child but during Jess’ pregnancy they worked flat out to convert the main Manor House into a stunning six-bedroom home - in just three months. The manor parts of which date from 1300 is thought to be one of the oldest houses in Sussex. They had to work around existing beams and the often surprising placement of chimney breasts. The couple also run South Downs Venison from the farm which supplies many of London’s Michelin-starred restaurants.
