For architect Chris, buying and decorating properties have been both a passion as well as a bit of obsession. Having recently finished a rather challenging makeover on the top floor flat in a Georgian townhouse, he was on the lookout for a more ambitious project. He heard on the grapevine of an unmodernized Edwardian house that hadn't been decorated or maintained for around fifty years, so it was like a museum with all its original features intact - a perfect project.
