Refurbished Victorian cottage in Kew, U. K.

It was a charming house to begin with but with new kitchen units, reclaimed elm floorboards and a new stone fireplace it became a stunning place to live. But the thing that really made a difference was opening up the cottage to light by extending it at the rear and removing a wall. Velux windows in the master bedroom bring light into the upper floor.
