A South African artist shows us his gallery and home in Cape Town, South Africa

Laurie Wiid van Heerden likes his gallery, home and workshop to have a certain laboratory/museum feel about them. The three places may be tidy and cleaned up, yet all of them are places full of intriguing pieces of art, vintage finds and plants. Nothing sterile or musty about these places. Unusual combination of materials, too, such as cork and ceramics mark, his own works, which he then showcases in the gallery.
